KENYA Radio journalists such as this reporter in Nairobi use Internews’ media resource centers in Kenya and Nigeria to produce stories on HIV/AIDS for broadcast on their stations. This service is part of Internews’ Local Voices program, which trains radio reporters, talk show hosts and deejays in how to report on HIV/AIDS accurately and effectively, in ways that reduce stigma.

CHAD Internews is building a series of radio stations to provide humanitarian news and information to refugees from the Darfur region of Sudan and populations living in remote areas of Chad.

THAILAND Internews’ Earth Journalism Network was established to foster environmental journalism, particularly in the developing world. Based in Thailand, EJN has trained reporters in Asia and Latin America in how to cover conservation and sustainable development more effectively.
