Up by 6:00am, checked emails and responded to urgent questions, especially the ones from the head office so they can have feedback in the same day.

Meeting with Jakarta admin and finance team at 9.30am, mostly discussed current practices and proposed changes in regards to the upcoming audit and internal controls. Meeting got interrupted a few times as we have to work on a proposal for emergency information services following the Yogyakarta earthquake – that needed an urgent response.

Going through the new finance manual with Teddy and Cepy in the afternoon and finished at 5:00pm. Back to work on emails focusing on Afghanistan project analysis as it will end in one month. My day ended at 8.00pm after responding to email from Ahamed in the Sri Lanka office.
