Melinda Pedersen

Director of Human Resources

Melinda Pedersen is the Human Resources Director, based in Arcata, California. Pedersen provides direction and leadership in the areas of recruitment, total compensation, security, performance appraisals, and training and development. She is responsible for meeting Internews’ growing global human resource needs by ensuring the attraction, retention and development of talented staff.

Pedersen has worked for Internews since 2001. She holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of New Hampshire. Her passion to support a mission for public benefit began while serving in the Peace Corps in Senegal.
