Carr Joins Board

Greg Carr, a human rights advocate and philanthropist, has joined the board of Internews Network. Carr is founder of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Carr received his Masters in public policy from Harvard in 1986, then went on to co-found Boston Technology, an international telecommunications firm where he served as chair until 1998. From 1996-1998 he was chair of the global Internet service provider Prodigy. In 1996 he co-founded Africa Online, the first African-based Internet service and content provider.
