New Board Chairs

Long-time Internews Network board members Kathy Bushkin and Peter Pennekamp have been voted co-chairs of the board. Kathy Bushkin is Executive VP and COO of the United Nations Foundation. Previously, she was President of the AOL Time Warner Foundation and Senior Vice-President at America Online.

Peter Pennekamp is Director of the Humboldt Area Foundation. Formerly, he served as VP of National Public Radio and a Program Director for the National Endowment for the Arts. He previously served as Internews’ board chairman.
