Journalists interview an Indian woman
INDIA: Vani and Christy, radio hosts from Anna FM, interview a caregiver at CHES Ashram, an orphanage for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS. Through its Local Voices project, Internews trains journalists in India how to report on HIV/AIDS accurately and effectively, in a way that reduces stigma.
"My husband is a truck driver and I got HIV through him. I had never heard of HIV or condoms before that and because I can't read, I couldn't understand any of the posters or banners."
