CAMBODIA: Every year thousands of men, women and children find themselves the victims of human trafficking in or through Cambodia, forced into sex work or labor. Here, Cambodian reporters participating in Internews' investigative reporting project take notes as they learn that their work could play a major role in the success of the country's year-old task force against human trafficking. The mentored reporters, from newspapers, magazines and radio stations, attended a two-day workshop on the country's new anti-trafficking law in January. Internews' investigative journalism project in Cambodia is funded by PACT under a grant from USAID. |
