KENYA: No one can imagine the stories behind these warm smiles – journalists Mary Kiio and Jane Mwangi took some risks to interview displaced people who had been exposed to HIV, but later realized they were unprepared to report on the gender based violence occuring in Kenya. To assist journalists in reporting on these sensitive issues, Internews organized a roundtable at the end of January.
