The CDAC Network, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UK’s Department for International Development invite you to a discussion: Stepping up to the challenge of community engagement in a digital age: Creating dialogue and “virtual safety nets”

The event will be opened by Dylan Winder, Head of Humanitarian Policy and Partnerships, Department for International Development and chaired by Dr Hugo Slim, Head of Policy at the ICRC

  • Community engagement during armed conflict and other situations of violence
  • Information and communication technologies and public-private cooperation: creating an enabling environment for community engagement
  • The critical role of communication and community engagement in preventing and addressing public health crises
